At the International Geoscience and Remote Sensing Symposium 2023 (IGARSS 2023) in Pasadena, CA, the PIs of the two Task 2 remote sensing groups of the University of Miami and the University of Massachusetts presented results of their Hurricane Ian (2022) studies.

On Monday, July 17, Roland Romeiser (UMiami) presented a poster entitled "Rapid SAR-Based Mapping of Hurricane Damages After a Landfall," focusing on radargrammetry-derived topography results for the St. Petersburg, FL, area.
