Marine scientists are deploying new ocean monitoring equipment through Australia's Integrated Marine Observing System (IMOS) led by researchers at the University of Deakin to gain a clearer picture on the changes occurring in Victorian waters.
Representing one of the largest investments in long-term observation of the state's oceans, the deployment is guided by the leadership of the Victorian and South Australian science nodes of the national IMOS.
